Its Called "Engineering" in this part of the world

Well,Leaving all Odds i choose to peruse B.Tech in Hyderabad in one of the
colleges which claims "Where Top Notch Professionals are born!".Every Single day i regret doing the so called "Engineering!".For them Engineering is all about scoring 20 on 20 Marks.Knowledge?? Woh kisko chahiye bhai!! We just need Marks.
Engineering means "Learning Something new everyday" but for them its Mugging up something new everyday.
These days an Engineer(leaving IITians and other reputed institutions) is just like a
Degree Holder.Who should be held responsible?? The System with the people governing it.

Looks awkward, feels disheartened looking at the most experienced Faculty members talking just about scoring full marks and nothing else.Tell me what is the point in putting an exam if everyone is scoring full marks in it?? Caliber of a student should never be judged with the way it freaking done here.
Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam said "All great men were back bencher"

Marks really don't matter to me in front of subject knowledge. Think practically,
"While dealing with a serious fault with an Aircraft,ypu will not be asked to show your mark sheet there.Safety of those passengers are in your hand and not Dependant on your Mark sheet"


Its High time we Raise our standards,change the way we work and the most important of all "Kamyaab nahi,Kabil Bano!"

Exams Exams and Exams

Here i go again with another post on my blog.
Well as they say" Exams Fever is On" and am sure its gonna be on for my whole life.
In school they started with Oral tests next the Class tests then the Unit Tests and many other kinds apart from the regular half yearly, quarterly and finals.
Then came the junior college..where the class test was called Slip Test and in addition to it we had Weekend tests.
People told " Once you get into Engineering , u will not have to go through all this crap" but the situation is still the same here.
JNTU ( University in which am studying) has released its revised academic calender..All thanks to telangana agitation "IT's HOLY CRAP Mannn!!" "It freaked me out!!"
Continuous exams for a month and a half with 1 or 2 days gap!
Exams are fine but we should at least have some time to study for them.
Well it was still acceptable till this point but what makes the circumstances go worse is a note in the instructions of the notification

" Mal-Practice is Not allowed in the examination Hall!!"

!!Tring Tring, Tring Tring!!

Those were the days when people use to visit there nearest Post Office to make calls to there family members. Disturbance and call faliure,they often had to experience it but today everything is changed..
We are in the world of Cell Phones.
"Haath main Degree ya phir Matriculation Certificate nahi hain par ek expensive cell phone zarron hain.."
I am another victim of this cell phone. I switched off my phone last night and the today when i switched it on, i had 14 missed calls and 19 SMS's unread.
Well and all those SMSes were CRAP!! Like" Good Night Hyderabad" , " Tommy ko bheja hain,agar aapne good night wish nahi kiya toh tommy SUSU karega" and one saying" i have changed my number..and mazze ki baat yeh hain ki puraana number bhi same tha!"
These texts were sent to me at 3:00 AM..
Guyz Guys Guyz!!
Technology should be put to a good use..Don't misuse it..!! Why do u have to disturb someone at 3 in the morning..
I dont need ur tommy in my phone. Stop Irritating me with those Stupid texts!!
I know service providers are giving u so many free SMS's every day ,better ask the service provider to provide u with the numbers also of the people who are interested to read your messages.
I Don't really need TheM!!


Ok! well i was frustrated after receiving such sms's everyday..Had to bear nearly 50-60 such textsa everyday!!


So next time,Think twice before messaging..For God sake!!

Well 3 idiots,a Movie which shows us the reality of the teens life is doing wondres on the big screens. Am sure everyone who has watched the movie have give it a thought! At least once.
So why am i writing about this?

Well am in a stage of my life where i keep on thinking" Hum Kis gali jaa rahe hain?"

Am doing engineering and RJing simultaneously. While in College, my mind is always occupied by the thoughts "Is Engineering something i am made for?"..Den comes the confusion.
I was attending a seminar few days back. Was getting bored with the boring speeches,suddenly i hear sum1 saying" Work in a field where you can be recognized!" well,that line still forces me to give a thought about my carrer selection..

But Main Rahul hoon...ek baat pe am never constant..

While i was doing an event with BIG FM in Hyderabad, i happened to visit a college St. Joseph's Degree College at King Koti Hyderabad.
I met a very old man.'Dr. Vidya Sagar'. He was the student Counselor as well as the placement officer there. He asked me"What do you do my boy?" i was touched with the way he addressed me. and i answered.." Sir am done with Intermediate and now am gonna do Aeronautical Engineering...SO he said..i wanna tell something but don't take me in a wrong way.." If u want to become a good aeronautical Engineer,STOP doing dese Events.." and he gave me a good example about such incident he came around in 50 years of his career...

Trust me..He gave me those lines..Those 5 minutes which i spent with him are really gonna help me to achieve a lot in Life..Thanks Sir,if by anychance u read this..

SO now the conclusion is..

Am doing Aero. Engineering which was chosen by me..No 1 forced me to do this..It was completely my choice..So am gonna become a Gud Aeronautical Engineer..
But still in dese 4 years of Engineering i will try and manage some time for RJing and stuff..


I really don't know where am gonna land in next 4 Years..But yes am confident,am gonna be successful in whichever field am gonna work!! Wish me LUCK:)
